White Dog began training Michael in earnest today. Already he knows that she loves belly rubs. He knows that very gentle stroking of her pink tummy will result in White Dog lying on her back up against him for a long time, smiling, her eyes blissfully closed, making little grunting noises of happiness. White Dog has also quickly taught him that the patient Eskie with perfect party manners sitting at his feet looking longingly at his plate means..."please share!" And last night Michael learned, as he joined White Dog and Steve on their nightly walk, that the term "walk" is a euphemism for "stroll until you lull the humans into an easy tempo then run at full speed!"

PeeEssWoo: It was furry hard work helping Mom with the transport - I barely made it up to bed!
White Dog, how fun that you have an open canvas with Michael, and can teach him most anything you want! Plus, how can he NOT rub your belly or give you treats when you look at him with those beautiful eskie eyes. You'll have him wrapped...I mean trained....in no time!

Everyone learns something....
hey Siku Marie,
Micheal sounds like he is a quick learner! And you sound like you are in heaven - Michael giving you belly rubs, and sharing his food, and taking you on walks; he is a neat kid! You are so great to be patient with Micheal as you teach him all about the nuances of being an Eskie. Keep up the excellent work!

hey Siku Marie,
I woke up to tons of snow so I had a very happy Friday! Except for being chained of course! Thanks for asking! My human does not have a tv hooked up, except to watch movies from VCR and DVD. So, no Super Bowl!
A yoga party with ethnic foods sounds pawsome! If I chew through my chain tonight I should be at your house by Sunday! :->

Sounds like there is a lot of learning going on at your house.
I'm so glad that the training is going well.:)

Sounds to me as though the lessons are going just great.. White dog enjoys and so does his young friend.. Bliss.. How is the patient doing.. Hugs GJ xx
Obedience training that human breed can be so incredibly challenging, but persistence pays off.
Sounds like things are off to a great start. Michael and White Dog have a world of opportunity ahead of them.
Woos, Phantom and Thunder
White Dog has learned what Michael has always known. It doesn't take words to really communicate, to really understand. And, besides, emotions can't REALLY be put to words.
Happy learning,
jake and Fergi xxoo
