White Dog is glad that some things are staying the same, despite all of the changes taking place right now. There still is Park time...just she and Steve...their time...and she can still tear across the grass...flying in the wind... a majestic spectacle of early morning light and movement and beauty. Together, they alone bear witness to the new day and breathe in its hopefulness. And when they return, White Dog and Steve bring with them freshness and energy enough to share with me. I huddle under the blankets reluctant to accept their wonderful gift delivered with such cold noses and fingers, but find I cannot refuse those loving hearts so insistently tugging me into the day!

Mom got a chukhkle watching the Eukanuba Dog Show on Animal Planet Saturday night -

When the Amerikhan Eskimo showed they babbled how the handler had learned to learn from the Eskie and not vice versa - they said that was khonsistent with the breed -

We can't imagine a better way to start the day. Cold or not. It's full of love and amazingly positive energy.

hey Siku Marie,

What a sweet post! Such a special treat to have alone time with your dad during the early part of the morning. And I love that when you arrive home you want to include your mom. I know it is hard for humans to get out of their comfy, cozy, warm beds but seriously, who can resist a cold wet doggy nose? ;->
