White Dog and Quinn were left in charge of keeping me entertained and distracted while Steve and Michael disappeared for awhile this afternoon and when they returned with grocery bags White Dog was ordered to stay on my lap feigning sleep so that I could not go out and help unpack things. All afternoon conversations around me were conducted in hushed murmurs that stopped when I came close. I was beginning to get a little paranoid. We all went to visit Michael's mom in Rehab and she finally got to meet Quinn! Both Quinn and White Dog were allowed into the lobby and my sister came out in a wheelchair for the introductions. Michael was very proud of Quinn's behavior and was happy that his mom liked him. She has a photo of Michael and Quinn and Siku hanging in her room.

When Richard came over after, the gig was up! I knew that he and Steve and Quinn were doing prep work for something special tomorrow but White Dog advised me to relax and not ruin the surprise of my celebration. So she has sequestered me in the computer room while the "boys" blend and grind and mix and chop and assemble their mysterious great smelling project. I cannot wait for the end results!

Sounds like all is going to plan. I bet the surprise is well worth the wait.. I am so glad that Michael got to take Quin and Siku to see his mum as that will have been good medicine for all.. Hugs GJ xx

How wonderful that Michael was able to show his mom his new treasure! We hope she is doing better.

And we can't wait to hear more about the "secret" project.

OK, DO tell what the surprise was!!! We are all so excited for you! Even Atka, who has managed to do every puppy thing a young eskie can do in just one short day! Oh boy!

Love you!

First. We LOVE the idea of the picture of you, Siku, along with Michael and Quinn, hanging in your auntie's room. That must bring sooo much joy.

Second. We feel like we're enjoying the anticipation of the birthday surprise, just as your moma did. Since we fell behind (as usual), we catch up with excitement and anticipation. Good Girl, White Dog! You are doing a great job of bringing joy into the hearts of your family and friends.s
