White Dog was brushed aside as Quinn came hustling up to me and tried to hide under the computer desk. Seconds later, Another White Dog pranced into the room and looked around. She saw The Other White Dog hiding and stood wagging her tail and yipping at him. "Make her stop!" TOWD begged. "She is following me everywhere I go and she won't leave me alone!" White Dog snorted, "hmmmm, sounds like a certain brother Eskie who plays that same game with me! Good luck, bro'" With that Quinn made a break for the dog door and was safe outside since Nuka still hasn't mastered pushing the flap.

So AWD shifted her attentions. White Dog hopped up on the chair and said, "So how do we teach party manners to a deaf girl?" I didn't need her directional nod to show me that our new Little Miss was standing, paws on the coffeetable, surfing as far as she could reach. I gently placed my hands on each side of her and put all of her paws on the ground. I put up a finger in front of her face and said. "No!" She looked at me and climbed back up. I took her down again. this time she growled at me. She was having a little temper tantrum! WD gasped. I held Nuka as I stroked her sides and kept her from trying yet again. "No!" AWD bared her teeth growling and White Dog was down next to me in a flash to be my enforcer. I asked WD to show her sister proper party manners and relaxed my grip. She looked at WD and at me. I could see her decide that maybe finding something better to do was a good idea.

"My dog," White Dog said as we resettled ourselves. "Am I the only civilized one in the house?" "Give her time," I reminded her gently. "Look how far Quinn has come!" "Yeah, right," she said as The Other White Dog came bounding in, zoomie speed, from the yard.

AAAh, feeling so comfy that now AWD is testing the waters. Firm and consistent - the only two words needed. And it looks like you already know that:)

Sounds like Nuka is getting the hang of things. Siku, you're such a great example for TOWD and AWD to follow.:)

YaHoooo
for Nuka..AWD...Angel..
Thank You Smiths for opening your wonderful loving home to her...I sent along Omega 3 for her skin and coat. I have had fosters bare butted and with a piggy tail from flea infestation and the coats grow back pretty fast.
