White Dog is happy to report that today was less smokey here in Albuquerque than it has been and that as a result Puff hardly coughed at all. Still Another White Dog was eleated that she could once again go outside whenever she pleased without restrictions.

Can you tell she had a good day?

That does not look like a happy eskie face. That looks like princess when she's been given a bath. We're glad the smoke is better.

I read your post from yesterday, and I was worried about all of you from that thick smoke. I am so happy to hear that it was better yesterday.

A careless campfire is all that it takes to destroy lives - human, pet, and wildlife. Forests take decades to regrow. I try to stop and talk to all the "distributed" campers in our neighborhood. Yet, one group who I talked to over Memorial Day Weekend left their fire going, and I had to call 911 when I found it spewing sparks in 50 mph winds. If only people would truly care. My prayers are going out to the universe.

We think she will be a whole lot happier when she is dry and gets a tasty treat:) So good to hear the improvement in the smoke, we so hope they get the fires under control.

Enjoy the weekend.

She looks a bit wild there!

How far are you from the fires? We've got friends in the area - some of which just got to return home to Eager today. We've been on constant stand by in case we need to hook trailers up and go up and get horses out. It's been a hard time for all of us!
