White Dog and the White Dog Army received a Spring Surprise from Mother Nature this morning: Heavy, wet, gloppy, SNOW!!!
Not your typical April in Albuquerque day, for sure! The WDA enjoyed romping until their coats were wet then delighted in coming inside to shake the cold melt everywhere. Damp drying dogs filled the house with a special aroma as they napped away the chill in their bones. By four the evidence of nature's folly had totally disappeared except that the grass and new leaves had an extra bright green freshness to them!

OOh, how pretty everything looks with just some white stuff all over. We will never get snow where we live. Boooo.

WOW!! I think Mother Nature must have spiked the punch bowl!! BOL!! It has been so nice for us, no one can really believe it!!
We got it too!!! It's still snowing here...
Gotta love the west!!!!!!
We celebrated with a fire (in the fireplace, not in the forest).
It gets in the 30s and 40s at night but so far, no snow. And we don't want any either!
We are glad that you westerners are enjoying it though!

How lucky for you!!! We think Phantom must have been dreaming he was in NM, we are still waiting for our rain and storms. Maybe today.

Just a heads-up, when my FiveSibes saw this post they took off and are busy packing and ready to mush their way to your place to play in that snow!
We in our area have been taken by surprise too. Lots of the white stuff but luckily none in my yard.. I hate the horrible white stuff.. Hugs GJ xx
