White Dog laid a paw on my forehead, "Wow! Momma I think you have a fever!" and she ran off to tell Steve. I awoke with the sickies: slight fever, scratchy throat, all over achyness and no desire in the world to eat or even smell food.
White Dog and Steve ordered me to spend the day doing nothing and over my protests that I needed to put up a blog, led me back to bed.
White Dog here. Momma has been put to sleep (oh, maybe I should not say it quite like that)! She is resting and Nuka and Puff and Quinn are in charge of keeping watch and making sure she doesn't try to sneak off and do stuff. Oso is helping dad put water and things momma might need on the bedstand.
YoYoMa and I are here to let you know that dad thinks it is just a summer bug and that she will be fine as soon as it runs its course. She is a little crabby, truth be told, (this is YoYoMa) and didn't even want to play tug with piggie. Before he knew momma wasn't feeling well, dad made her a beautiful brunch with homemade hashbrowns and eggs. Momma tried to enjoy it and be thankful but dad could tell there was something wrong. He felt better when she told him it wasn't his cooking (he is actually a very fine chef). Yo again, the rest of the White Dog Army showed dad how good the food was by finishing up when momma finally admitted she just couldn't.
So today we are going to have our hands full because momma isn't a very good patient but Quinn reports she is sleeping which is good. Hopefully, dad is right and she will be just fine tomorrow. Have a great Friday.
