White Dog shook her head in wonder. "You think of everything, momma!" she said.

Valerie, who has a small confectionery business that makes chocolates and the most divine covered apples EVER, was at the house to drop off little chocolates that she had donated to go into the table favors for this Sunday's Rock the Kasbah Event (our very own Ann from Zoolatry did the fabulous art).

There were two kinds: little chocolate paw prints and puppy shapes. As we all peered into the box together, Valerie laughed. "I was halfway through making the puppy candies before I got it." she revealed. "I wondered at first why you were so insistent that these be white chocolate but as I took them from the molds it hit me...WHITE dogs! Like your White Dogs. Nicely done."

"You figured it out, most won't and we won't tell. It will be our little insider's secret. But yes, it was done as a tribute to the very patient White Dog Army that has worked as hard as you and I have on this."

Note: I had hoped to show a photo but both my runners came back limping and threw things into a bit of chaos. YoYoMa stepped on a pebble and cut his pad and Steve has a nasty infection on the side of his big toe. Rest and antibiotics and LOTS of sympathy is the cure. Never got to the photo. Ah, life.

Sounds like a lot of BooBoos. I hope everybody's okay.

YoYoMa, you get that paw of yours healed. You two, Steve.
