Rebecca and her two beautiful white standard poodles had arrived from California...and they brought Josh, Rebecca's special friend, for us all to meet. We met Daisy Mae in these blogs and followed the addition of Maple and have become face-to-face friends. These dear, wonderful friends helped us last year when we put together our first Walk to End Cancer...then they lived in southern New Mexico just a few hours from us.
When we decided to do two Walks this year, they immediately called to say they were coming. New job commitments kept them from the one in September but here they were using up hard-earned vacation hours and driving 12 hours just to lend their support and voice.
On this Thankful Thursday, the White Dog Army is grateful for amazing friends who bless our lives.
Welcome, my name is Oso. You never met me. |
Quinn shyly greets Daisy Mae, his lady love. Rebecca and Josh lost their heads over the cuteness of their exchange. |
Of course, we all celebrated with duck jerky! Welcome friends! |
