White Dog led the Floofy Flash Mob full speed out of the dog door and into the yard. There the White Dog Army did zoomies through the piles of leaves Steve had raked together before he discovered that we were out of yard waste bags and that he had to head to class.
Quinn stood next to me and watched through the patio door as his five siblings ran and plowed and crashed through the bright yellow tossing leaves into the air with their heads. They dug, scattering leaves. They pranced and kick-stepped...and rolled.
And then as quickly as it started the WDA returned to the house, shaking leaf bits all over the living room carpet. "I don't think dad is going to be very happy when he discovers that he has to re-rake the yard," I cautioned them.
White Dog who was once again sitting on the arm of the chair finished licking her paw free of yard before she looked up. "I guess it is a good thing it will be dark when he returns," she replied. TOWD just shook his head.

We have our money on Steve getting a big laugh out of it too.

The best part of raking is playing in the piles!

We agree. We bet Dad Steve wasn't too happy to see those leaves re-strewn in the yard. But oh, what fun that must have been for the WDA! :)
UhOh...Me thinks you'll all be in trouble! But all the fun was worth it!
:o)
