White Dog whispered in my ear, "Let's sleep a little more, Momma. Today is going to be a very busy and intense day and I do not want you to run out of steam." Steve had just left to teach his morning class, it was 7:30am and we had spent an hour before packing up Pumpkin with all of the materials needed for tonight's Candle Light Vigil to Honor the cancer Warriors. I wrapped my arms around her and surveyed the room, the rest of the White Dog Army was in agreement and already settled for napping...including Miss Bella, comfortably arranged on the couch.

Steve teaches both a morning and an afternoon class so timing was crucial. He would run home at his afternoon break to pick us up and while he was in class I could begin setting up tables and such for the Event. Other helpers will arrive about 5 and Steve's class ended at 5:30...the Vigil begins at 6:30pm.

The WDA and I are confident that this will be an incredible evening. The moon is full, a meteor shower is supposed to take place; I believe these natural elements will add to the shining light of hope that we will create. Thank so many of you for sending your loved ones as Tributes to join us on the Wall of Heroes...know they will be greeted with honor and will be viewed as the inspiration each is.  Our speakers each have an amazing story and through their words we will all share their journey and know the determination to fight and the belief and the hope.

I know our Blog Family will be with us in spirit, your candles shining from all corners of the planet as we recognize the monster as being beatable and unite behind those Warriors who lead the way by fighting the war within their own bodies. Together we are a force that CAN push the c monster back into its Pandora's Box, lock the lid so it can never be reopened, and end cancer for all creature for all time. Spread the light...
