White Dog had to do a bit of planning. This was to be Sachi's first White Dog Army outing and figuring out his position in Pumpkin was important. Clearly he was NOT going to ride in Steve's lap (Little Napoleon's choice). Nor could he be belted on the way back seat next to Taiko...his game of nipping at Tai's back feathers annoyed the big boy and a disagreement in the moving car would not be good. Bella was not about to give up her spot on my lap and WD refused to even consider surrendering her co-pilot's carrier on the front console. YoYoMa claimed the floor immediately behind the front seats and again we worried that Sachi might make a pest of himself trying to get past his brother to Steve. The only other spot was Puff's. She usually sits in the one seat in the second row (we have one of those great fold into the floor middle rows of seats). She loves to watch out the window for a while then curls up on the seat and sleeps.
White Dog looked at her. Puff and YoYoMa get along famously, often napping side-by-side. Puff sighed and then pushed Yo away as he took the news as an invitation to get intimate. Sachi was strapped into HER seat. FINALLY we could get underway.
Sunday afternoon at the Park...perfectly glorious...what more needs to be said...
