White Dog looked out of the patio doors and smiled. It was a perfect late summer day and Steve sat on the lower patio surrounded by most of the White Dog Army. "I think this is the first time all season that I have seen Dad in the yard actually sitting there and relaxing," she said. I nodded. "He is battling so much stress and frustration it is nice to see."

The White, Darkest White and Nearly White Dogs enjoyed the afternoon for quite a while. Finally, Zsofia came in and put Snakey in my lap. "What were you all doing out there?" I asked. "Oh, you know, artsy stuff," she said as she squeaked the stuffie indicating that she expected me to make it scream and then throw it. "Sweet Heart," I said, "look, there is no room for throwing. Nilla and Opal are both sleeping in the hallway and Bella is right in the doorway." She grabbed her toy, whacked it against the ground a few times in a half -hearted "kill-it" dance and left the room.

Later Steve shared the electronic doodling he had been doing as he and the WDA communed with the peace of our yard.

This one is my favorite, White Dog chose.
Ben, you look like a famous painting, I told him and he was all smiles.
This was Benson's choice
Steve REALLY liked this one: "Makes him look so angelic," he said.
WD and momma agreed that nothing beats the purity of black and white sketches.
Sachi called this Walking on the Moon.
