White Dog hip checked Opal on her way past in the hall which caused CA Stormer to weigh in on how unnecessary the action was. Storm's grousing brought Benson out of the bedroom to tell him to mind his own business.

And so it was all morning. The White Dog Army was snippy and intolerant of each other. Not just each other Pearl and Sachi were unrelenting at the windows yelling at every creature that they saw, including birds and imagined invaders).

The was no reason. The weather was sunny and perfectly Spring like. Everyone had breakfast. There were no sickies or ouchies to contend with. All should have been enjoying the day instead of wrapping themselves in uber grumpiness.

YoYoMa woofed that they should calm down. Trixie was so rattled that she wet the couch cover.

Then the utility crew put up flags and parked their trucks...TWO of them... right in the middle of the street in front of our house. They lifted the metal cover from the road and dropped ladders into the hole and then the team of five or so spent more than two long hours purposely driving the White Dog Army to loudly filibuster all at once and creating a monster headache for this momma.

When Steve pulled up at the end of the day, the White Dog Army pushed and shoved unkindly for positions at the door. By the time he walked in the door, they were composed into happy, wagging little Angels that covered Dad in kisses and nuzzles.

He looked at me. "You look like your day was not so good." I smiled, "Just a headache. Glad you are home."

Maybe the WDA somehow knew that those utility trucks were on their way?
