White Dog did not ask me to repeat my whispered, "Come on, let's go." as Steve corralled the others back inside. She was off my chair, at the door and through the slit before the van door finished sliding open. She was WAY ahead of me as I pushed and loved my way through the White Dog Army who would guard the homestead and nap on the sun porch to the gentle tinkling of the wind chimes. "We will be back soon," I told them. "YoYoMa is in charge and Zso, you are the enforcer...BUT only IF he ASKS!"

With that we were off to the Park for our monthly Paws To People meeting in the park. It was a stunning day and amazingly the Park was nearly empty. Sadly, we drew no attendees to the meeting but a friend stopped by to talk about sewing a new drape for the dog door for the White Dog Army. WD listened attentively for a bit and approved the fabric but mostly she gloried in Sunday at the Park...and being an only child for a few hours.
