White Dog sat in my lap as I fired up the computer for the day. She looked at the keyboard to discover the photo Steve had tucked there for me...a photo from long ago that he found while cleaning off a shelf on his side of the office.

"Hey!" she exclaimed, "that is ME!"

"You were the most adorable baby ever. I don't remember this photo at all but it makes me smile to think of all 3lbs of you cradled in my arms and ruling the world."

She pressed against me. "Like now?" I laughed and kissed the face of the Little White Dog of My Heart. "Except now is seven times better!"
