White Dog allowed Zsofia to sit in for my weekly visit with Lyndzy, my nurse "as long as she did not get in the way or be a pest." Lyndzy gave her blessing when Zso told her that SHE was interested in becoming a nurse and that she (Zso) thought watching would help make her better equipped with momma nursing duties.

So My Itty Bitty Baby stuck her nose into the nurse's bag "just to see what was in there." She hopped up on the bed when my vitals were taken and had to rest her head on my shoulder after Lyndzy listened to my lungs with the stethoscope. She sat attentively as we went through the list of usual questions and then walked my nurse to the door.

Later in the afternoon, I set up the stuffy surgical theater and prepared to do sutures on Lambie2 who was bleeding stuffing. Opal asked for the triage but was not brave enough to watch.

"Sister," Zsofia told her, "You go out to the waiting room. I am a nurse in training and will assist momma in the procedure."
When we finished Zso gently carried the patient to bed and went out to let Opal know Lambie2 had done well and could see visitors.
