White Dog nodded in appreciation. "Our team at Dr. Julia's office doesn't just keep us healthy, they all are so very talented in so many ways. This is beautiful. You can tell it was made by someone who knows US."

Shawna, who works the front desk at the clinic and keeps our records straight, and gets prescriptions sent, is efficient and cool under pressure. She can take long rambling momma notes about one of the Army to rely to Dr. Julia and never miss a point. The WDA counts on her to get us straight through to our healer when it is imperative.

Beside her skills in the busy vet's office, Shawna is a crafter. She made holiday wreaths for a craft fair and nearly sold out. Belatedly, we asked if she could do a special one that would envelope our White Dog Army Christmas Angel.

Steve picked it up today and the White Dog Army whole-heartedly approved.
"It is too beautiful to leave outside," Pearl, our Watcher, started the debate. Her comment made me sad but the others added their concerns that it was too quickly snatched and light enough to run with. I pointed out this is the season of peace and that we seldom have problems with packages being stolen. "Remember the little Native Spirit Sculpture," WD reminded.

In the end we agreed to hang it in a window, inside, safe and protected. But not before one last shot. "Momma, Dad took this because we all know how much you love the welcoming beacon of our front door."
