White Dog sat down with the White Dog Army and answered their questions about her health and what was being done to make her well. After our conversation with Dr. Julia at the end of yesterday, we scheduled the procedure which will drain the pseudocyst for Monday. WD reassured the others that this was not a risky thing and that the outcome would be successful. She should be home that evening feeling better and would rely on antibiotics to finish the job of fixing her up.

Already on the pre-event antibiotics she seemed more lively, less depressed...and she had eaten bone broth with bits of chicken hungrily and with gusto. All the eyes of the Army watched and when Steve held up the empty bowl, we all breathed a huge sigh of relief.

"What a week!" Pearl commented and was met with wags of agreement. "I feel better knowing that my sister can be helped," Opal said, "but I am still keeping my toes crossed until AFTER it is all over." "Well, that won't be until Monday," White Dog reminded. "so let's all try to relax and enjoy the weekend."

Following the leader's advice, the WDA kicked into weekend mode.
