White Dog smiled at Pearl's enthusiasm. "That little girl is
always on the job," she complimented. "She watches as long as dad leaves the blinds open." Pearl is the WDA version of Neighborhood Watch; generally,
nothing slips past her notice.
"Sometime I am glad when he finally closes them for the night and our sentry can finally stand down."
