 White Dog laughed. "Houdini Bailey has been at it again," she said.

Bailey was underfoot so Steve sequestered her in the kitchen while he moved things around to make way for my wheelchair so that I could join everyone in the living room.

The new gate is 42" high, tall enough, we thought, that Bailey would be unable to get enough leverage to work the latch. 

Wrong!

Looking VERY pleased with herself, Bailey said that there was no point to her escape other than to show that she could do it IF SHE WANTED TO.
