White Dog was next to me on the bed watching Steve begin the preliminary steps to the reconfiguration that will allow Roman to gain a bigger sleeping crate and for us to move a smaller kennel to the office to start acclimating Bella to the idea that she will, eventually, need to be in a closed bed at night. That day is not yet upon us so the smaller crate was set up with a come-and-go open side so all can enjoy the comfy mattress when in the office supervising dad at work.
Opal got a little nervous about everything being moved about and all the deep cleaning being done. When Steve suggested it might be a good time to "throw all they toys in the washer" Opal took up a position of defense. Thankfully, Steve heeded White Dog's counsel to not initiate TOO many changes in one afternoon.
