White Dog and the White Dog Army crew walked the yard with Steve making note of the damage caused by the storm and the cleanup that would be required. We were better than many although we lost a very large tree branch and lots of mid- to kindling sized ones.

Zso, Bailey, and Opal were assigned the task of gathering the "sticks" into a pile, which Roman guarded. White Dog made sure all kept to the rules about staying on the deck while Steve used the chain saw.  In the excitement she ultimately had to sit at the top of the ramp and block access.

Pearl and Bella picked up paper which had blown in but could not escape. Steve had to quickly snatch those bits found before the team sat down to shred them. Tizenegy and Nilla barked encouragement from just outside the dog door, looking down on the workers from the "balcony."

In no time, the cleanup was accomplished and Steve raced to tie up the wood into bundles BEFORE the sticks were scattered as toys and chews.  As they came in for reward treats I heard Steve telling them.

"While you nap now I will move the bundles to the court yard. The city's Spring Cleanup Collection for items like these is next week." I think Steve's plan was lost to the handing out of DOUBLE treats.
