Please remember those who have no long table to feast at or friends to fill their day with conversation and laughter. Ask the Universe to this day provide EVERY creature a moment of feeling safe, of sensing it is loved, of knowing he or she is important to the balance of the world. Reach out with a phone call, a wrapped sandwich on a park bench, something for the ferals. If nothing else is possible, your smile and recognition as you pass will suffice.
The first Thanksgiving was a community celebration of helping each other survive hardship cooperatively. Strangers, invaders, together at one table. Actively give thanks by DOING something positive and meaningful not just today; thanks is not a one moment event. Imagine the possibilities.
Our prayer for each of you is that you come to the table with a full joyful heart and that the Universe always provide you with bounty enough to share.
