White Dog laughed, "Remember, when I used to do that as a pup?" "You mean BEFORE you became Queen and had staff?" "With an Army now, it ought to be like Downton Abbey here. Everything all in order and tidy without you or I even thinking about it."
All of this was a reaction to Opal lying in the middle of the living room deconstructing a new stuffie. I told her that her toy could not stay where it was since it would be in my way when I had to move and that she would have to put it back where it belonged so I would not fall.
Steve came home shortly after and I asked about the toy. "Nope, it is not in the doorway...or the hall. Here it is," he said from the bedroom. "safely in Zso's crate."
I looked at Opal as she trotted out. She smiled. "VERY good girl."
