White Dog saw Bella into the tub for a washup by Steve and then came in as we called Dr. Julia. We got lucky and Cindy, Dr. Julia's #1, answered. "Hi there, we think Bella has an infection somewhere in her urinary system," we told her. "I know Monday's are always bad but can we come over and get lab work sent out. Then tomorrow, you or Dr. Julia can call and we will either bring her back for full exam or you can prescribe what will knock it out?" Cindy took down the info and Dr. Julia called shortly after. "Have Steve bring her over and we will collect urine and send it out. Then I will call you in morning and we can make a plan."

Bella seemed to be having trouble the past couple of days with accidents in the house; when she did not have enough advance warning this afternoon that she wet herself lying down we knew it was something to take a closer look at.
This morning our Tiny Dancer was fine and prancing all over the living room demanding breakfast. By midday she was lethargic and felt warm to the touch. To keep her close and easy to monitor I put her in the dog buggy next to me. The WDA took turns sitting with her. She slept most of the day but surprisingly DID eat her dinner.

Tomorrow we will have a better sense of what is going on but until we hear from our beloved vet, Miss Bella Marie has been excused from bedtime walks and may skip treats if she chooses.
