White Dog was thrilled that Dr. Julia sees continued progress in the healing of Bella's eye. Our vet wants to add a new eyedrop in the hopes of clearing enough edema that sight can be saved. We are waiting on the compounding pharmacy to send it out.
Meanwhile, Bella's impaired vision and her dementia sometimes call for White Dog's intervention as a Guide Dog for her sister. WD encourages our Tiny Dancer to lean against her in navigating (especially now that White Dog herself is doing so much better walking), and to press close when comfort is required.
White Dog's only request is that Bella NOT stand upon her. The occasional squeal from WD tells us Bella has misjudged her position; Steve goes to gently remove the Tiny Dancer from atop the WDA leader.
