White Dog smiled gently in answer to Steve's "Is everyone here comfortable?" He was not sure whether to see intimidation in Roman sitting there or step back and let this moment play out.
"Roman and I are just hanging out, dad. I am enjoying his visiting with me," White Dog reassured.
Steve quietly snuck a photo and sent it to me with the caption: "Progress comes in unexpected ways at unexpected times. Learning how to care?"

Roman is returning some of the love that Miss Siku Mariehas shown him since he arrived. He may not know the word, but he appreciates the feeling.
