White Dog tapped me to make sure I saw Bailey's sadness. 

"What has you so glum, my Bailey Girl?" I asked her. 

"I was out helping dad unpack groceries and first Roman yelled at me that it was HIS job and then I noticed that you did not order the perfect seasonal after dinner treat," she sighed.

"I will talk to Roman about not being so possessive and sharing the fun. What treat did I forget?" I responded.

"Really, momma? Pumpkin ice cream of course! We ALL love it and it is only around for a very limited time."

"Sweet Girl," I told her, "I did not order pumpkin ice cream because we have an unopened container in the deep freezer. Dad put it out there last week when we did not have room in the regular refidge."

"Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes," Bai sang. "You are the best momma ever! Can we start with dessert tonight?"
