"What do you mean I have bad manners? That macaroon was in the middle of your computer cart surrounded by your mouse with pad, your spirometer, your other glasses, and the moniter...right where ANYbody could grab it. Besides, you didn't SAY not to put my paws on the cart and knock everything out of the way so that I could enjoy it. It WAS very tasty, by the way."
"LEAVE IT! should have been a clue," I responded. "How about we call the macaroon your afternoon treat and when the others get their duck jerky, you don't?"
"Let's not over-react," Lilly smiled. Opal nudged her side, "Don't push her, sister. Look humble and maybe go hang out with dad in the other room for a bit."
