"Gee, dad, you were gone for a while today. It's a good thing you timed it so that we were taking our after-breakfast naps," Lilly confided. "You see, Lilly, our friend Tami invited me to her home for lunch today, and we had a delightful time. Momma and I first met Tami when she had a cafe in an art cooperative in Old Town. She catered several parties for us and even made special dog meals for our beloved Benson. Now that I'm home, I'll be spending the afternoon reading a good book recommended by Ami, Momma's close friend in Budapest."
"That sounds great, dad! I'm glad you don't mind Diva and me climbing into your lap to cuddle while you read!"
