White Dog and Steve went secret mission shopping for Gotcha Gifts for Opal and Pearl. Their special day is tomorrow but neither girl really likes to travel so the tradition of going to pick out their own gifts would have been stressful rather than fun.

They returned and I went into the office with the almost celebrants while WD shared her finds with the rest of the White Dog Army.

When I heard the group discussing tomorrows party plans, I clicked on Opal's favorite jazz album, the Celebration Suite, from Airto Moreira. She did not catch the foreshadowing but she and her sister enjoyed the Brazilian's sound while quietly munching on "Just Us Girls" cookies.
